Tereza Krpcová and her career accomplishments
“I work for the innovation agency JIC, where we are trying to create an open innovation ecosystem in the South Moravian Region, Czech Republic. Our vision is a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem that is home to globally successful entrepreneurs. With this vision in mind, I was asked to design and lead an entrepreneurial community called JIC+ in September 2017. My role is to create a safe environment where members, local entrepreneurs, can share their experience, transfer know-how, establish partnerships, get inspired and support each other. JIC+ community has currently more than 400 members, company founders from more than 300 client companies of JIC who meet on a regular basis.
Each year I organize 60+ events for the community focusing on sharing experiences among our members. I also regularly inform about all JIC and entrepreneurial news and other regional, national and international opportunities. In the community I focus on creating a trusted environment, where meaningful connections can happen not only among our members but among the whole ecosystem – corporations, investors, experts and other key players from the region. The community is based on ‘give before you get’ philosophy and I am happy that after these years we can see the positive impact of this kind of collaboration”.
