Amazing news! Only one week into our acceleration program for ecosystems, one of the projects raised capital to build their ecosystem project and take it to the next level.
Innovators Garage, an initiative from Pakistan seeking to connect Silicon Valley with Indus Valley, has raised $150,000 angel investment from private investor Rizwan Buttar, Chief Innovation Officer at Zauq Group.
Bridging Silicon Valley to Indus Valley
Innovators Garage is an innovation consulting startup that builds bridges among the industry, academia & government sectors. Innovators Garage´s goal is to support the transformation of academia institutions into innovation hubs, by overcoming the gap between research and commercialization. “Pakistan is the fifth largest nation on the planet with 220 million people. At Innovators Garage & Zauq Group, our mission is to make Pakistan an emerging startup hub, build a $500 billion innovation economy, and make Pakistan a Top-50 innovative nation”, said Mr. Imran Jattala, CEO and Co-Founder of Innovators Garage, who was selected to join the current generation of ecosystem builders of the DEEP Ecosystem Accelerator.
Fostering Pakistan’s transition to an innovation economy
